Family background

The first 24 years of my life were spent in the United States, in New Jersey. Since August, 1991, I have lived in Hungary. In 1993 I married my Hungarian wife and now have 4 children.

Educational background

I obtained a Masters of Education degree from the University of East Stroudsburg in the U.S. in 1991.

I completed a 6 week Teaching English as a foreign language course offered through Educational Services International.

In Budapest, I successfully completed a course in the Teaching of English as a Foreign Language at International House in May, 1994.

English Teaching positions in Hungary

From August, 2010 to April, 2011, I received medical treatment for lymphoma.

From 2001 to 2010 I taught 3rd and 4th grade students at Városligeti Bilingual Elementary School.

From 2000 to 2010 I have been teaching Business English courses, as well as TOEFL and Euroexam B2 and C1 level exam preparation courses.

From 1998 to 2000 I taught at Robert Károly Hotel and Catering Vocational School

From 1992 to 1998 I was a teacher in Budapest Evangelical High School

From 1991 to 1992 I was employed at Gundel Károly Hotel and Catering Vocational School in Budapest

Related achievements

In the summer of 2002, I taught ESL and TOEFL courses at the Sussex County Community College of New Jersey, U.S.A.

Between 1992 and 1994 I held teacher workshops for American English teachers from the organization Educational Services International, who were teaching English as a foreign language here in Hungary.
